Craig Compiano​

President​

Craig Compiano is an expert business manager and entrepreneur with extensive executive management experience and a track record for developing successful businesses. He brings to the company and the industry, 30 years experience in business and systems development, operations, and finance. His prior accomplishments in software development for large commercial and public sector clients during his tenure at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) led to his current concentration on operational systems development and performance analytics for data centers, and the founding of Modius. Previously as Co-founder and Vice President of Paymap, Inc., Mr. Compiano prototyped, developed, and deployed an Electronic Payment System, that has been widely adopted by the banking industry. He was awarded a patent for this technology. Mr. Compiano has a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA Finance from UC Berkeley.

Mark Carberry

Vice President of Solution Delivery

Mark Carberry is our Vice President of Solution Delivery.

Mark previously served as our Vice President of Sales and is uniquely qualified to help customers implement their Modius OpenData solution on time and on budget.

He has a rich background in Telecom and equipment monitoring. Mark graduated from UCLA in 1999, where he majored in Cognitive Science.

As a developer, Mark gained valuable experience working with numerous technologies encompassing hardware, software, communication, and cybersecurity. Mark joined the executive team of DPS Telecom in 2002, where he served for ten years as Engineering Director and six years as Vice President of Sales.

Mark’s experience as a product developer and Sales Engineer exposed him to real-world needs for which he skillfully and repeatedly developed practical solutions. The VoIP Orderwire products are just one example of Mark’s innovation for an industry that is still popular today for creating IP phone service at radio sites without needing a central server. In addition, Mark is highly knowledgeable regarding SCADA protocols and best practices for monitoring and control. His expertise includes sensor instrumentation, remote telemetry units, and fault management systems.

Brett Udashkin

Chief Marketing Officer

Brett Udashkin joined Modius as our Chief Marketing Officer in December 2021 and brings over 35 years of technology sales and marketing experience. He has worked at leading firms such as Intel, Microsoft, and Rogers Communications.

While at Intel, Brett managed international sales teams in the computing and communications businesses as well as the Director for Intel of Canada .

While working in the US at a multibillion-dollar multi-channel technology vendor, he started up and led a > 30-person Enterprise Marketing team that won multiple vendor awards and industry recognition.

At Rogers, Brett was the Director of Strategic Partnerships, where he managed relationships such as Google, Amazon, Ericsson, and Samsung with a focus on inbound innovation.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University in Montreal, and was the recipient of the Sir George Williams Medal.

Scott Mitchell

Vice President, Sales

Scott Mitchell is our Vice President, Sales. In this role, Scott owns revenue generation for the company and further developing our sales capabilities and resources.

Scott’s experience includes significant leadership tenure at Verizon, Ericsson, and Rackspace. In addition, Scott has extensive expertise in the data center industry, including MTDC (multi-tenant data center) colocation, dedicated hosting, IaaS, cloud adoption and migration, data center managed services, and system integration, working with both Fortune 1000 companies and mid-market organizations to meet their mission-critical needs.

Scott shares our passion for the data center market, its growth, and the role DCIM can play in delivering impactful results on customer operations, sustainability, and the ability to scale worldwide portfolios seamlessly.

Scott is a Texas native who currently resides in Dallas. He earned his BBA degree from The University of Texas at Austin (Marketing/Finance) and an MBA from Baylor University (Management).
