What do you get to do in this position?
- Create procedural tools and scripts to streamline production processes with a heavy focus on procedural modeling and geometry processing & optimization.
- Have a key role in developing new visual features and capabilities of our propriety software in the rapidly growing market for data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software
- Source and implement strategic 3D visuals for proposals, project deliverables, and presentations including fully modeled project building sites, arch/vis and equipment renderings, photo/video composites
- Work with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine to integrate assets into real-time environments.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the production pipeline, ensuring smooth data flow and compatibility between different software and tools.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, working closely with the Solutions Delivery and Engineering teams to implement systems and inform pipelines for asset creation
- Provide technical support to other team members as needed.
This job might be for you if you have experience with these technologies:
Required:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience and prior history of shipped products with successful application of optimization workflows
- Strong proficiency in 3D software such as SketchUP, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
- Deep understanding of a major game engine (Unity, Unreal Engine) and alternate rendering solutions (Three.js, Qt) including rendering pipelines, material systems, and performance optimization features.
- Basic scripting skills to automate tasks and develop custom tools for optimization
- Ability to learn/stay up to date with multiple 3D platforms and software to improve efficiency and stay competitive, i.e. using canvas base vs. browser based WebGL
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Computer Science, or Game Design
- 2+ years work experience with Java EE platform, or similar high-level, class-based, objected-oriented programming language
- Server client technology
- Familiarity with DCIM or other data center tools
- Strong conceptual thinking and exceptional attention to detail, with a passion for solving complex problems
- Motivated self-starter and team player
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Work Hours & Benefits
