About Dell IoT solution bundles
The Dell Technologies IoT Solutions Partner Program is an award-winning, multi-tiered program supporting technology and services partners from the edge through the full Dell Technologies solution stack. Through this program, Dell Technologies identified several partners demonstrating strong use case focus and clear return on investment to create the new Dell Technologies IoT Connected Bundles. The bundles include Dell Technologies’ hardware and software, as well as licensed partner software tailored for specific verticals and use cases.
“As edge computing becomes a vital part of any Industrial IoT strategy, Dell is committed to enhancing the availability of market proven IoT solutions in which our customer base can deploy IoT solutions rapidly” said Chris Wolff, Head of Global OEM & IoT Partnerships – Dell Technologies. “Designed exclusively for our channel partners, we’re investing in use-case specific IoT bundles that integrate our hardware at the edge with software from our partner program ecosystem to enable IoT solutions that deliver great results. Our partnership with Modius is an example of our bundle offering and underscores the need for real-time edge data analysis to prolong infrastructure life-cycle, reduce energy costs, and monitor IT critical infrastructure in an easy to deploy bundle. Dell Technologies continues to be at the forefront of innovation with the introduction of our IoT Connected Bundles Program, and the on-going partnerships with proven industry solutions like Modius OpenData.”
As part of our IoT for IT ™ monitoring platform, Modius has selected two vertical use cases in which to amplify through the Dell IoT solution marketplace and resale partners which are: Critical infrastructure monitoring, which helps IT and Facilities departments reduce system downtime, prevent outages, and enhance maintenance personnel efficiency, and IT energy equipment monitoring, allowing IT to quantify energy savings initiatives, understand power capacity and efficiency, and reduce overall energy usage costs.
“Our partnership with Dell reduces the overall complexity and supercharges the time to value you can expect with IoT equipment monitoring said Sean Gately, Vice president of Business Development and IoT initiatives at Modius, Inc. “Being selected as one of Dell’s bundled IoT solutions validates the leadership and innovation we continue to evolve toward since we first launched OpenData as a way to monitor machine health and efficiency nearly a decade ago”
